« It was very hot and we bearly survived in the cotchage, no air condition, no fan, I have problems with my heart and I félicitations very badly especialy in the night. I did not expert 38 near the océan. We recived the fan at the very last night of our stay and when we cam no one even bother to open the windows for us, so in was like a hot can. Whats more, I wrote an email that we will come in 3persons not 4 and if its possible to deduct the price of additionnel bead cothes and on one bothered to respond me. »

« My overall experience was excellent. The site is lovely, well located with very good facilities, very clean and well run. Our Premier Cabin was beautiful, spacious and well laid out. A special mention to technician Tom who managed to retrieve a silver ring dropped through the wood on the terrace. He went above and beyond to do this. BUT one major criticism is lack of air conditioning. I understand your wish to save the environment , but in a hearwave with nearly 40 degrees it is intolerable , and impossible to sleep at night. You did eventually provide fans, but they are not really sufficient as just blow around the very hot air. »

« Overall stay very good but position of our premier cottage very poor. For a 5 star site, the position of premier cabins must be considered more carefully given that people pay substantially more for these. In addition, with the recurring heatwaves, having no air con options available is dangerous as temperatures reach high 30’s and sometimes even 40 and above. »

« It would have been a 10 for both if there was air conditioning. The heatwaves are happening more often now and it was unbearable!! We have been three years in a row but are now thinking that we find somewhere next year with aircon. Which is such a shame as everything else is perfect. »

« I love it, the place, the people (always saying hello with a big smile),great attractions for kids and adults ❤️ cleanliness ❤️ The only thing I would recommend is placing more bins on the camp - it was troublesome with kids to always walk a long distance to the bin. And food selection - pizza was not great, chicken dry, salads with poor selection od sauces. Actually food is the most important thing I would love to see improved. All the rest is perfect :) »

« Overwhelmingly positive experience. Very little I would change. We stayed during the late June/early July heatwaves so it would unfortunately appear that air conditioning is necessary. There were occasionally children in the Zen area which I thought should have been enforced better (this was not an issue for me - more just an observation). It would be lovely to try to introduce more shade to the multi sports area. The drinking fountains and spray showers are an amazing touch. Ideally, the playground would be closed off preventing access through the climbing towers to the play area alongside Chez Hugette (my 4yo could leave the playground via this structure). »

« This is our 5th year coming with our tent to your campsite, every year we change to different campsites for our journey home after staying with you.Les Grand pins always remains as our main long stay camp. We haven’t been to a better campsite in France. We lovely how every year you can see the amount of work and improvements you put into the camp. It is a credit to you. »

« Ein wirklich toller Campingplatz mit großzügigen Stellplätzen. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen wird. Mit Baby haben wir einen ruhigen, schattigen Stellplatz bekommen und wurden sogar persönlich bis dorthin begleitet. Die Sanitäranlagen waren zu jeder Tageszeit sauber und gepflegt. Lediglich der Stromanschluss an unserem Stellplatz war etwas weit entfernt, wofür ein längeres Stromkabel nötig gewesen wäre – das scheint aber eher die Ausnahme zu sein. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Gestaltung des Platzes: Poollandschaft, Animation, Supermarkt und eine kleine Bäckerei liegen nah beieinander und sind bequem erreichbar. Die Poollandschaft ist modern und bietet für jede Altersgruppe etwas – vom überdachten Babybereich bis zum separaten Erwachsenenbereich. Auch der gepflegte, überwachte Strand hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass hier das Campen im Mittelpunkt steht. Mobilheime sind vorhanden, nehmen dem Platz aber nicht den Camping-Charakter. Der Ort ist zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad schnell erreichbar und ebenfalls einen Besuch wert. Insgesamt ein sehr gepflegter Campingplatz, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen. »

« Very enjoyable stay. Air con should be a big consideration as there were a few very difficult nights where I was worried about the children during the night. Also would be great to have a treasure chest for toys, balls etc that people are finished with that can be left close to reception or near the pool area. A lot of toys balls were thrown out so it would be great to promote circular economy. Sheets and towels could be changed if people stay seven nights or more. The nights were very hot and sweaty. The free cold water was a brilliant initiative, saves so much plastic bottles. The indoor forest pool area, the mirror pool, lazy river and general cleanliness were all fantastic. Swimming hours from 8-11am was great although most mornings kids starting bomb diving into the pool at about 10.40. On one morning a child landed on a man swimming lengths and it was dangerous. Zen pool area also fabulous. The kids club was great, my kids adored it along with the staff, all amazing dancers. Night entertainment very enjoyable. Overall we had great fun. »

« We love every minute. This was our first visit to Les Grand Pins and have already pre booked next years holiday. The set up is incredible, perfect for children of all ages, all the facilities are immaculate, the staff are all friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. See you again next year and hopefully for many more to come. »
