Les Grands Pins campsite offers a wide range of entertainment and activities. If you enjoy board sports, why not try your hand at surfing or simply perfect your technique at the surf school located within the campsite in Lacanau. The ocean is 350 metres away, with direct access via a path through the dunes.
You will also love the wide range of activities on offer: volleyball, tennis, pétanque, outdoor fitness area, and more. There are activities to suit all ages. During your stay, treat yourself to some fresh air, go hiking or take a bike ride on the region's many cycle paths. It's the perfect way to recharge your batteries while enjoying the unique landscape!
The 6,000 m² sports area
Discover our fully equipped 6,000 m² sports area. On site, you can enjoy a beach volleyball court, a beach tennis court, two multi-sports courts, four pétanque courts, a pump track, a skate park, table tennis tables, Teqball tables, table football, fitness equipment and a large fitness terrace where sports activities take place throughout the season.

Surfing, cycling, water sports: book your activities
‘BO and CO’: a surf school in the heart of the campsite!
When you stay at Les Grands Pins campsite, you can also enjoy surfing. Discover the ‘BO&CO’ surf school nestled in the heart of the campsite. Under the guidance of Bernard and his team, experienced surfing enthusiasts, share their love of surfing, bodyboarding and longboarding.
From May to September, take advantage of equipment hire, courses and lessons, accessible directly from the campsite, to learn how to surf. To get the best rates, we recommend booking your surfing course at the same time as your stay.
Cycling
You're on holiday, so it's time to forget about your car! Set off from Les Grands Pins Campsite for a ride through the forest and make the most of the huge 100 km network of cycle paths. This is a great way to explore the region and admire the lake and pine forest. You can hire bikes (for adults and children) directly from the campsite for half a day, a full day, a week or a fortnight, as well as child seats, helmets for little ones and child trailers. There is even a bike repair station on site.
Les Grands Pins campsite, which has been certified Accueil Vélo since 2013, welcomes cycle tourists who use the famous ‘VELODYSSEE’ cycle route.
Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboarding
Just a 10-minute drive from the campsite, come and try your hand at kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. Set off on an adventure with family or friends to discover the charms of Lacanau Lake, its small sheltered coves and its islands. Navigate the canal that crosses the Étang de Cousseau nature reserve to discover its unspoilt flora and fauna.
